Due to widespread increase in distribution of electricity in home, as well as in industry, whereby million of population has access to this dangerous source of power, fatalities continue to increase. The total of electric accident however is difficult to ascertain since non-fatal accidents in home are not recorded and those which occur in industry may not come to notice unless the premises are subjected to the Factory Act
